The album title is appropriate: this album makes you feel like a cosmic explorer as you approach the edges of our universe. Contemplating taking a leap into a potentially dangerous new universe, you admire the celestial sights but also go through significant introspection to determine whether such an adventure will be worth it. This album is still one of my favorites. What Johnny and Evan did here, I don't know if it could ever happen again. There is heart in this album, something actually kind of rare nowadays I think. The beating rhythms and fun riffs meet ethereal vocals and leads that actually impact me emotionally which is, in my opinion, the superlative measure of any work of art. brineryte
